This Tuesday (18) it was announced that Mike Perry will be Paul’s rival in the ring, at an event to be held in the city of Tampa, Florida (USA), on July 20. The fight will take place, according to the MMAFighting website, in the cruiserweight category (up to 90.7 kg), with 10 ounce gloves used by the two rivals in the duel.
The date was the same as the duel that the YouTuber would have told Tyson, this one in Arlington (USA), but the health problems of the former world boxing champion meant that the meeting was postponed. The date remained open and Paul decided to use it to face an opponent who has achieved success in the ring, but in another type of sport.
Ex-UFC, Mike Perry has had an up and down career in the octagon, but has gained a legion of fans, motivated both by the ‘tough’ style that ‘Platinum’ has demonstrated in his fights, but also by the style a somewhat controversial to act and speak, with various provocations to rivals.
