Released in our darkrooms on December 15th, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in an extended version in French cinemas on September 7th. This was announced by the French branch of the Sony Pictures studio recently.
The announcement of this release in the United States (September 2) was made last June by the 3 Spider-Man with Tobey Maguire, Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield.
Many scenes from The Third Adventure of Tom Holland were cut due to its already substantial 2:28 running time. But given the film’s success at the international box office ($1.9 billion collected worldwide), director John Watts and Sony chose to mount a new version of the feature film intended for theaters.
Thus, No Way Home should not exceed 2 billion internationally, making it the 3rd highest-grossing Marvel film behind Avengers: Infinity War ($2.05 billion) and Avengers: Endgame and its $2.7 billion gross.
