In the early hours of this Thursday (20th), an unidentified man died in Rua João Lino Preto, in the Pinheiro Machado neighborhood, in Santa Maria. The firefighters were called after the man’s partner reported being attacked and, in an attempt to defend herself, she ended up killing her partner.
According to initial information, the victim was rescued and taken to the Patronato emergency room for treatment, but did not survive his injuries.
The exact manner of death has not yet been disclosed by the authorities, who continue to investigate the case. Police are working to clarify the details of this domestic violence incident.
