Warning, spoilers! This article describes elements of “Umbrella Academy” season 3.
If the first two seasons of Umbrella Academy captivated the audience, the ending of season 3 divided. It must be said that a lot of events come down to the everyday – already very chaotic – life of the Umbrella Academy and, accordingly, the spirit of the audience. In the tenth and final episode, the Hargreaves again escape the end of the world, thanks in particular to Alison (Amy Revere-Lampman).
Thanks to an alien machine, Sir Reginald (Colm Feore) manages to create a new world. The Hargreaves brothers reunite in Obsidian Park and discover that Luther (Tom Hopper) is alive and well in this new reality. First, the members of the Umbrella Academy discover that they have lost the use of their powers.
Meanwhile, Alison joins his family – his wife and daughter. His wish was granted when they don’t even belong to the same reality. Many viewers on social networks point to inconsistencies and believe that the plot of the series gets confused with the arrival of different realities.
Maybe I’m stupid but… I’m the only one who didn’t understand anything at the end of season three #UmbrellaAcademy ..
I have a lot of personal seasons but I can’t get them all the way through.. I can’t wait to see the rest as we will no doubt be entitled to a 4th season. #UmbrellaAcademyS3– Mathys David (@MathysDavid10) June 26, 2022
I still haven’t finished Season 3 of Umbrella Academy because I’m not hooked at all when the first 2 seasons were so good. I don’t know how I will be able to watch Stranger Things after this masterclass

On the other hand, Season 3 of Umbrella Academy is really bad. I finished and realized we’re no further along than we were at the end of season 2 (special mention for episode 8 which is 1 hour long and was completely worthless from A to Z)

Even the creator, Steve Blackman, took it upon himself to clear up some misunderstandings in an interview with the finale. entertainment tonight. He explains, among other things, that Alison’s character is really in the same reality as her family: “Many people believe that Alison, Ray and Claire are ghosts. That’s not the point. Ray and Claire now exist in this timeline no matter what..”
The showrunner also shed light on Benny’s (Justin H. Min) appearance in the post-credits scene. He explains that this version of Ben is really from Sparrow Academy. The creator adds:He’s in Korea, you can tell from his voice. But how that will fit into next season, I won’t tell. It’s a secret!“
Another disappointment that fans have noted is Alison’s character development. In season 3, the heroine becomes almost an antagonist. One of the series of the 5th episode even caused a special reaction from the audience. Number 3 kisses Luthor using his powers.
Umbrella Academy completely destroyed Alison’s character and in the end.. I don’t even know what to think?

Allison, she’s been holding me tight for the entire new season of The Umbrella Academy. I really hope Victor puts him in his place in Season 4.

Throughout the season, they focused on the 2 least interesting people in the family: Luther and Alison. It’s all a far cry from the masterclass that was season two. #UmbrellaAcademy pic.twitter.com/EDLGK05p9i
