In all the “Bridgerton” brothers., Gregory is the one who appears the least in the series so far. The reason is simple: he is the youngest and much younger than everyone else. In the latest ‘Bridgerton’ book, we see Gregory trying to find a woman to marry. He decides that he wants to get engaged to Hermione Watson. To try to woo her, he counts on the help of her friend Lucinda “Lucy” Abernathy. It turns out that while trying to help her friend, Lucy ends up falling in love with him. However, she is already promised to another man.
Gregory’s advances don’t work and Hermione doesn’t even pay him any attention. In fact she marries the Earl of Fennsworth. In a night of heavy drinking, Gregory and Lucy end up kissing. After this, the young Bridgerton also begins to grow fond of his friend. However, he lives in a toxic relationship with Lord Haselby. Lucy is treated like a “commodity” in her engagement and she ends up marrying him anyway.
The Bridgertons try to free her from the marriage, resorting to arguments and blackmail. They eventually manage to annul Lucy’s wedding. She is free and later marries Gregory. After getting married, Lucy and Gregory had 9 children together.
