Cut scenes in “Bridgerton” season 3?

Some fans complained about the amount of screen time given to the main couple in Season 3 and wished Penelope and Colin had more scenes together, especially in the second installment.

“Actually, that’s my main complaint about this season lol, I really think Penelope and Colin should have had more screen time in the second installment. It’s not like they were the *main couple* of the season, I wanted to see more of them. “

And that their screen time could have been longer, with social media rumored to have deleted scenes between Colin and Penelope.

At least, that’s what fans who got a preview of the second part of Bridgerton season 3 say. According to them, four sequences were removed from the final cut.

It would be the sex scene after their argument in the hallway of the milliner Madame Delacroix, the scene where they discuss Colin’s future as a writer in bed, the scene where Colin sweet-talks Penelope in front of the mirror, and the montage. Sex scenes at the end of episode 8.

While neither Netflix nor producer Shonda Rhimes have yet responded to these allegations, some fans have scoured social media and interviews with key stakeholders to find evidence that confirms or contradicts the claims of netizens.

An interview with Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton seems to contradict fan claims, at least for episode 7, as the interview Fashion magazineThe Irish actor explains that they called it that “Forbidden Sex” Episode :

“After meeting, they don’t see each other for a while, then they meet in a dark alley and say “quick, quick, quick, quick”..

The scene takes place on the eve of their wedding, and although they kiss passionately, they hold back their impulses and separate, only to meet again the next day in church. When we look at the footage in question, it seems impossible that the cut was made.

But fans still believe that other scenes could have been cut and are asking themselves a lot of questions, especially after noticing that Bridgerton director Tom Verica liked a fan comment asking what “deleted scenes” should be released.

“I know everyone is wary of rumours, but Bridgerton director Tom Verica liked the comment about the deleted scenes. I don’t know what that means, but it’s worth considering.”

Fan-started petition over Colin and Penelope’s ‘deleted scenes’

Even if it’s just a rumor at the moment, that’s not stopping some fans who are confident in their claims from running petition I will ask Netflix to include these potential deleted scenes. The petition launched five days ago has already collected more than 55,000 signatures.

“We want Netflix to do justice to Pauline, either by releasing the deleted scenes in a separate episode, or by restoring the episodes as they were originally intended. Luke and Nicola did a fantastic job, knowing that these beautiful and vulnerable scenes will not be “received , it seems unfair to their hard work.”

At this time, neither Netflix nor Shondaland have spoken about the issue or the fan request. We have to wait for a response from key stakeholders to find out if the scenes were actually deleted.
