It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Monday 24 June 2024 Episode 953 [SPOILERS]

Maya realizes that she loves Malik

After learning what Malik did for her out of love, Maya feels a little lost. She admits to Vic that she is attracted to Malik but doesn’t know if she has feelings for him because she has never been in love before. Vicki tells her what made her realize she was in love with Enzo so she can compare. Suddenly, Maya realizes that she is late for the exam.

In the kitchen, Suleiman, Malik, Leonard and Maya face a test that involves deciding between them and choosing the three first years who will compete in the upcoming test to become valedictorian. Leroy arrives to explain to them what their test of the day will consist of: they have 3 hours to create a dish, giving their imaginations free rein. The goal is to impress him.

Without any technical limitations or any foundation to lean on, Malik completely loses his ability. Maya hands him a piece of paper on which she has written a restriction to help him find inspiration. In this case, she challenges him to make a vanilla-pea combo. Malik gladly accepts his help and gets down to business.

At the end of the test, Leroy announces the three students vying to be valedictorian: Suleiman, Malik, and Maya. Malik thanks the latter for helping him through the ordeal. The young woman admits that she still owes that much after she spoke badly the day before. She admits that she needed a shake-up and that thanks to her, Quentin is finally staying at Calvier. Maya offers to make peace with Malik. He accepts with a handshake. Worried, Maya then suggests they become friends again. But Malik says he still needs time to get over his romantic feelings for her.

In the park, Malik joins Suleiman, who suggests that he join most of the students at the Calvières concert. But Malik prefers to avoid meeting Maya there. Seeing Violet standing at the table behind them, Suleiman encourages his friend to approach her. So Malik goes to talk to Violet, who still has a crush on him. He offers to drink beer and stay in her room.

Meanwhile, Leonard, Vicky and Maya are getting ready to go to the concert. When Maya hears that Malik is not coming, she claims that she forgot something. Her friends immediately realize that she is about to reveal her feelings to Malik. Maya confirms this to them: she finally understood when they shook hands a little earlier.

Meanwhile, Malik is in his room with Violet. It doesn’t take long to approach him, then he starts undressing, kissing her neck. Malik pushes her away and explains that they can’t go anymore because he has someone else in mind. Meanwhile, Maya surprises Malik and Violetta from the bedroom window. Assuming something is really going on between them, Maya hides heartbroken…

Paul turns to Rose’s unexpected proposal

On the terrace of Double A, Rose drinks coffee with Paul and explains her position at the institute. The latter admits that he also researched him on the Internet and thus learned that he was a successful novelist. That is why he is interested in this passion. Rose says she wanted to get back to writing over the summer, but couldn’t find a budget-friendly rental. Paul offers to come and live in his villa. Rose explains that she is not alone as she promised to spend the holidays with Carla, Berenice and Constance. Paul sees no problem with that. Rose promises to think about it.

Rose goes to Constance to tell her about Paul’s proposal and reveals that she is quite charmed by this new encounter. Seeing photos of her villa, Constance is overjoyed. But Rose wants to talk it over with her daughter before making a decision.

At the commissary, Carla shows Berenica the photos of Paul’s villa that Rose sent her. Two young girls won and are looking forward to their vacation there. On the other hand, they question Paul’s identity. Bill, who joins their conversation, reveals that it is a double client who had a crush on Rose the day before.

Carla then goes to the office to confront her mother about it, stressing that she doesn’t want to spend her vacation watching a stranger flirt. Having already accepted Paul’s proposal, Rose announces that she is going to leave. He leaves it to Carla to choose whether or not to come.

Kelly accepts the position in Dinar

With the roommate, Lionel is holding back because Kelly turned down his marriage proposal. Jasmine prepares to leave while Jimmy quickly finishes his video game to join her. Lionel confirms that this type of behavior is the first step towards the breakup of a couple. When Jasmine offers to speak for him, Lionel is nervous.

At the park, Jasmine asks Jim if their relationship will last. The latter understands that Lionel’s speech made him suspicious. He admits that he cannot predict the future, but he knows very well that he wants to be with her right now. Relieved, Jasmine hugs him.

Meanwhile, Kelly finds Lionel in the garden. He apologizes to her for hurting her. He explains that the marriage proposal made him happy, but it’s not enough for him because he’s reaching a point in his life where he wants something else, where he needs to know who he is outside of their couple. So Kelly announces to Lionel that she has accepted the position at Dinar. The young man is terribly sad.
