A Better Life Preview: What’s in store for Tuesday, June 25, 2024 Episode 121 [SPOILERS]

Sports day in Mistral

It’s a big day at Mistral! All the athletes put on sneakers to participate in the race organized by Blanche, Luna and Gabrielle. Many Mistralians are registering. So it is with Pascal.

Gabriel finds Noura before the race and tells her the bad news: she has lumbago and therefore cannot participate. However, he informs her that he has found a replacement. But after a few minutes of waiting, the latter is lost. Luckily, Pascal shows up on Thomas and Riva’s cargo bike.

The start signal is on. Gabriel is motivated to run and Thomas is motivated to pedal. But in the middle of the race, the rear tire of the bike hits. They must quickly find a way out so Noora can continue her race. Although he hates running, Thomas decides to follow a diabetic run.

A few meters from the finish line, Nura stops suddenly, gasping for breath. But when she sees Gabriel in the distance, she finds the strength to continue. As he crosses the line, he jumps into the doctor’s arms. In turn, Gabrielle congratulates her husband and tells him that she is proud of him.

Thomas, Gabrielle, Luna, Blanche and Noura meet in Mistral to celebrate this great victory.

Samuel loses his trust in Jennifer

Jennifer looks everywhere for Samuel’s adrenaline injector, but can’t find it. Luckily, Gabrielle comes down and applies the product to her hip. The policeman gradually regains his senses.

After her cousin is out of danger, Gabrielle goes to the kitchen to check the labels on the food packages. But when he opens the fridge, he finds a jar of peanut butter. Jennifer promises she wasn’t the one who bought it.

Later, at the bar-restaurant Le Mistral, Thomas confronts Pascal about the incident with Jennifer. The nurse isn’t really surprised because she’s a little confused, but Thomas contradicts her. Jennifer may not be responsible for him.

Upon arrival, Gabrielle informs her husband and Pascal that Samuel has escaped, but it is not thanks to Jennifer: “He almost killed her.” Thomas is confused and the nurse is not surprised.

In turn, Samuel informs Jennifer that he bought adrenaline injectors. The young woman explains to him that it has nothing to do with it, but he does not believe it. As a result, tension arises between them.

Arriving at the police station, Samuel informs Ariane that she has a peanut allergy, hence her absence this morning. He adds that Jennifer is responsible. Ariane is surprised that a young woman could forget such an important thing. He answers in a humorous tone: “Maybe he’s tired of you?” But this does not amuse Samuel, who gradually becomes suspicious of his lover.

Pascal puts his plan into action

At Mistral’s medical office, Jennifer is overcome with guilt. She texts Samuel to apologize, but he doesn’t respond. Suddenly, Pascal comes and tries to talk to her, but she answers sharply. So he asks her: “What did I do to you Jennifer?”

Jennifer apologizes to him and explains that she is a little upset at the moment. He replies that it is not easy to be alone in a new city and that he finds it difficult to support loneliness. As a result, Jennifer offers to help him move the boxes into the apartment. He accepts with joy.

After the move is over, Pascal makes Jennifer some herbal tea while she visits the residence. He pours a few drops of the mysterious liquid into his glass. Jennifer takes the opportunity to confide in him, especially explaining her argument with Samuel, then adds that she’s been making a lot of careless mistakes lately.

When he drinks tea, fatigue overcomes him. As he gradually falls asleep on the nurse’s couch, he slips in these few intriguing words: “It’s happened to me before, they died because of me.”
