Having long wanted to make an action-adventure film with a touch of comedy, Sandra Bullock decided to produce the project through her production company Fortis Films. She approached her friend Lisa Chasin as a producer, and then Seth Gordon came up with the idea of making a film, which she is producing. After seeing brothers Adam and Aaron Nee’s band, Bullock and Chasen wanted to meet the duo to offer them “The Secret of the Lost City”.

To play Jack Traynor, a former Navy SEAL who dabbles in yoga and hostage recovery, Sandra Bullock turned to her longtime friend and hairstylist, Janine Thompson, who suggested another client of hers, Brad Pitt. Bullock recently appeared in Bullet Train wearing Brad Pitt, and the latter agreed to return the favor.

Channing Tatum’s wig was designed by Rob Pickens and made, cut and colored by hairstylist Derrick Spruill. “I guess I had no idea how personal this wig was and I didn’t know who Dash was until I put it on. Suddenly this psychotic, completely insane character came to life“- explains the actor.
