Malik plays with Maya’s emotions

After surprising Malik in Violet’s company when he was about to confess his feelings for her, Maya confides in Vic and Leonard. The young girl thinks that Malik doesn’t care anymore if he moved on so quickly. However, Leonard encourages her to talk to Malik, but Maya remains stubborn and prefers to concentrate on her next exam.

In the kitchen, Leroy and Hortense explain to the students what the next day’s test will involve, to decide the majors for each class. The event will be a test of their teamwork skills with three teams of one student from each level competing around a full summer-themed menu. Then three brigades are formed: these are Kelly, David and Malik; Jasmin, Vicki and Suleiman; And finally Tom, Bill and Maya. Each team is responsible for thinking about their menu now and creating a dessert that needs to be refrigerated by 6pm.

At the workshop, Kelly suggests combining his ideas and those of his opponents to prevent them all from going in the same direction. So Kelly’s brigade decides to go with a thatched hut theme, Jasmine’s brigade with a picnic theme, and Tom’s brigade goes with Lyon’s cork theme. Malik can’t help but barb at Maya, but she doesn’t respond. When he asks why she ignores him, the young girl replies that she was the one who wanted to distance herself from him.

During his lunch break, Malik eats a sandwich outside with David. He calls Leonard to find out why Maya is acting so angry with him. Leonard finally confesses to his best friend that he likes her, but doesn’t say anything because he surprised her with Violet. Even if Malik claims he didn’t sleep with her, he’s going to hide Maya to marinate a bit. David agrees to help Malik get jealous.

Back in the workshop, David and Malik are talking loud enough for Maya to hear them. So David questions his friend about his crazy night with Violet. Completely flustered, Maya misses Cream. Tom blames him. He has to start all over again. A little later, Maya takes a break and goes to see Quentin, who is taking his final exams. Maya confides in him that she can’t concentrate on her ordeal because she can’t stop thinking about Malik, who she really fell in love with. Quentin encourages his sister to tell him the truth, even though he thinks she’s no longer interested.

At the end of the day, Maya returns to the workshop, where Malik is tasked with placing the desserts of each brigade in the cold room. When he has just placed them on the cart, he turns to his interlocutor, who finally confesses his feelings to her. Malik, on the other hand, reveals that he never slept with Violet and that he wanted to make her jealous by being David’s accomplice. Maya and Malik approach teasing each other in a flirtatious tone. When Malik asks her to tell him again that she likes him, Maya refuses and playfully pushes him away. But the young man falls back and drags the cart of desserts, which all fall to the ground…

Enzo develops his master concept

At Double A, Rose hands out their diplomas to the graduate students and congratulates everyone. He hopes that Anais will give Salome her diploma when he goes to see her at her restaurant in Dinar. He then announces that Anais will permanently operate the Institute’s training restaurant. He wishes Livio the best of luck in opening his trattoria in Nice, then sets up a meeting with Enzo for the day so he can present the changes to his concept. In return, the students offer their Master Director a gift to thank him for all that he has done for them, which means a lot to him.

Later, Anais comes to see Enzo at the studio to ask him to be the second in Double A. The young man refuses, suggesting that he will stay at the institute thanks to his project. But he refuses to say more for now. As agreed, Enzo stops by the management office to present Rose and Leroy with the changes to his gourmet street food concept. He had the idea to offer both a sandwich version for people in a hurry and a breadless version for customers who want to sit down and take their time eating. He particularly thought of testing his concept at the institute’s pop-up. Rose and Leroy are convinced.

Is Laetitia telling Stanislaus the truth?

Accompanying Maya to the Institute, Laetitia takes the opportunity to question what she saw last time. Maya makes him promise to keep this secret to herself, and then reveals that she started an affair with some Sebastian six months before she fell into a coma. Maya admits that at the time she felt alone and that nothing was meant to be. Laetitia realizes that she has fallen in love with her lover, but Maya is unable to admit it, especially considering that Stanislaus faithfully waited for her while she was in a coma. At the same time, the latter joins them in the corridor, and then takes his wife.

During the service, Stanislaus confesses to Laetitia that he did not expect to see her with his wife. Laetitia claims that she could not admit that she had developed feelings for him. She adds that in the end she moved more easily than expected, which does not leave Maître D’s indifferent. During the stay of the servant, he seems distracted and especially pours wine on the customer’s table.

At the end of her shift, Laetitia finds Stanislaus in the commissary to find out what’s bothering him. The latter admits that he feels guilty for betraying his wife by having an affair with him. Laetitia insists that he stop blaming himself, reminding him that Maya encouraged him to live without her if necessary. However, Stanislas thinks that his wife didn’t really mean what she said. Laetitia admits that it still suited her. Suspecting his colleague to be hiding something from him, Stanislas interrogates him to find out the truth.
