Why Are You Smiling?, in theaters July 3
Who (Jean-Pascal Zad) is in trouble. Hoping to find a job, he arrives in Bordeaux and crosses paths with Marina (Emmanuel Deveau), a humanitarian with a big heart. In order to get a place to live with him, he pretends to be undocumented.
One evening, he meets Jerome (Raphael Cuenard), alone on the street after his mother’s death. Despite racist remarks and a strange phobia of exercise, Wissy agrees to hide him at Marina’s house for the night. But smelling a good plan, Jerome is determined to get involved. All three of them will make the strangest neighbors!
