Here, there is no monster lurking around, appearing every now and then in the film’s climactic moments, but a true immersion in all that destruction, with threats everywhere.
Through the eyes of Samwe witness the arrival of aliens, the panic of the people and the understanding that in order to survive, one must remain in complete silence. Brilliantly lived by Lupita Nyong’owho is no stranger to thrillers or dramas, the character gives us what no one managed in previous films: the desperate feeling of being at a dead end.
