Monday June 1st in a more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Patrick is (almost) a new man
Early in the morning, while Babette is having breakfast, Patrick does a sports session. He decided to do 30 minutes of exercise every morning. He tells his wife he’s been a bit sluggish but is now back on track. Babette reassures him that he will see her again with a smile.
At lunch, Patrick meets Jean-Paul at Mistral. He carefully examines the day’s menu, but finds the dishes a little too greasy for his taste. He tries to motivate his colleague to follow his drastic change in diet, but the latter replies: “Stop accusing me.”.
In the end, this discussion had little effect, as Bohr also chose the salad.
Babette returns home from work to find Patrick wearing a leather jacket and glasses. Surprised by this change in appearance, he said: “It makes you but sexier”. And that’s not all, Patrick decides to take Babette to a salsa bar.
Babette goes to her room to change, but when she returns, she finds Patrick asleep on the couch… immortalizing the scene with a keepsake photo.
Ophel overcomes the phobia
Ofel unexpectedly visits Anais, a young woman who bullied him when he was in high school. The latter advises him to go to the Flower Pavilion, as it helped his little brother move forward. He adds: “I have changed and it is thanks to this association”.
But Ophel refuses to listen to him for a second and slams her door shut. But with the door slamming, he finds himself locked outside the house. He is paralyzed, he has not set foot outside for years.
A few minutes later, while serving customers on the terrace, Aya and Killian see Ophel in the distance. They run to him. The young woman is completely panicked. He explains to them that he found himself outside without his keys or phone. Aya is very proud of what her friend has just achieved.
Will this incident help Ophel overcome her greatest fear?
Jennifer, alone against all
Jennifer is busy. Ariane interrogates him. Reason ? He found his friend’s service weapon. On the other hand, Samuel and Meilin watch the interrogation through a tinted window.
Jennifer is devastated by what is happening to her. Ariane tells her that she suspects she wanted to get rid of Samuel, but Jennifer shouts: “It’s impossible because I love him.”
During a break outside the police station, Samuel is visited by Gabriel, who has come to report the theft of anesthesia from the medical office. The policeman learns that his girlfriend is once again suspected of theft. He agrees to accept his cousin’s statement.
Minutes later, Melanie and Ariane inform Samuel that Jennifer has been released without a trace. However, they are very suspicious of the medical secretary and wonder if he should be interned. But Samuel strongly opposes this decision.
When she is free, Jennifer returns to Samuel’s apartment. On the way he meets Thomas. He tries to cheer her up by offering her a drink. Suddenly Pascal comes and sits at the table of the young woman. He tells a terrible story: he was fired.
It’s too much for Jennifer. With tears in his eyes, he said to his colleague: “losing everything”. He suddenly gets up, leaves Mistral, then leaves his colleague without explanation.
Back at the apartment, Jennifer packs her bags to go to the hotel. Samuel arrives at the same time and hugs her, telling her that they will face this together. He asks with a hesitant voice: “Will you promise not to hurt yourself?”
Jennifer is surprised by her friend’s words. He asks if she trusts him, but he tells her that he’s probably going through a big crisis. And that’s not all, he informs her that he is suspected of stealing anesthetics.
Jennifer, knowing full well that she did nothing wrong, gets angry. He takes the suitcase and says to Samuel: “You are nobody to me.”
