The expression “going in circles” takes on its full meaning in the following information… Last June, the trailer of the Indian action film Kill was released in the tradition of John Wick and Bullet Train.
Directed by Nikhil Bhatt, Kill follows Amrit (Laksh Lalwani), a soldier who discovers that his true love Tulika is being held against his will. He boards a train to New Delhi to thwart this arranged marriage.
But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by a ruthless Fani starts terrorizing innocent passengers, Amrit takes it upon himself to fight to the death to save those around him, transforming an ordinary ride into an adrenaline rush.
The feature film, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, has been acquired by Lionsgate and will be released in US theaters on July 4. At its launch, audiences widely compared the feature film to John Wick, in terms of action, creativity, and casualty…

A remake directed by John Wick
today, variety announced that Chad Stahelski, director of the John Wick saga, would produce an English-language remake of Kill through his production company 87Eleven Entertainment.
We don’t know anything about the casting of this new version yet, but the director and former stuntman praised the Indian film in a press release. The director called Kill one of the most creative action films he’s ever seen:
“Kill is one of the sharpest, wildest and most creative action films I’ve seen in a while. Nikhil delivers relentless action scenes that should be seen by the widest possible audience. C “It’s exciting to develop the English version – we have a big responsibility to take on and I’m looking forward to it. Working with Nikhil”.
A release date has not yet been announced and the original version of Kill does not have a release date in France.
If we still don’t know when the fifth part of the John Wick saga will see the light of day, this remake could lead to a new action franchise, or even, why not, a new spin-off of the action saga. After Ballerina with Keanu Reeves and Anna De Arma, announced in theaters on June 4, 2025.
