Melody was arrested by the police

After discovering that the gem found in Kovac’s house belonged to Melody’s ring, George confronts her about it. He explains to Melody that the stone comes from John Kovac’s case seals, then questions her about her relationship with him. Melody claims that she didn’t know him very well and that a few weeks ago when she went to repair her car, the stone fell. As Melody leaves, George takes the glass he drank from and takes it with him to the police station.

There, Georges tells Martin that Melody lied about John. In fact, he claimed he didn’t know him, even though the police recorded the exchange of private messages between them. He expected his partner to tell him the truth, but he didn’t. So Georges asks Martin to analyze the glass back to compare Melody’s prints with those found in Kovac’s house.

Meanwhile, Bastien asks Audrey for help in organizing his father’s funeral. She informs him that John had funeral insurance and that everything will be taken care of. He then offers to take care of the administrative procedures and choose the casket. Bastien thanks her for her help, then tears well up in his hands, unable to come to terms with the idea that someone could kill his father.

At the police station, Damien confirms to Georges that the prints found in John’s garage at his house, as well as on the sleeve of the jacket he was wearing when he died, are indeed Melody’s prints. Georges then imagines that Melody killed John and Clarisse, probably out of jealousy. Sarah goes to find Melody, who is in gym class with Mona in the park.

Back at the police station, Sarah questions Melody and presents the evidence the police now have against her. He also reads her the messages they sent each other a few days before John’s death, where Melody wanted to talk to him and the mechanic asked her not to insist anymore. Melody then confesses that she had been having an affair with John for a few months after arriving on the set. She specifies that their adventure did not last long and that she then met Georges. So Sarah suggests that Melody wanted to hook up with John, but the latter refused because he fell in love with Clarice. Melody would kill both of them out of jealousy. Behind a tinted window, Martin and Georges follow the interrogation. The latter is now convinced of Melody’s guilt. Since he remains silent, Sarah claims her custody for murder.

Martin summons Igor to the police station, who arrives accompanied by Sebastian, to tell him that the killer of Melody’s wife has been arrested.

In turn, Georges goes to see Melody in her cell. She is shocked and disappointed that he lied to her in the morning. Melody promises her that she does not have a double life. But George does not believe him. He regrets planning so much with her. At the same time, an officer arrives to handcuff Melody to take her to a police van…

Later, Marian notices that Diego is ironing. She believes that she should spend her time on other things, including going out with friends. Diego mentions Jack, Ryan and Maud. Mariana tries to find out more about the latter, but feels that it is a sensitive topic.

At Spoon, Marianne meets Sebastien and takes the opportunity to invite him to an aperitif at ChloĆ©’s the next day with Maud. The prosecutor is surprised, but accepts. But Violet reveals to him that she misses Jordan.

Later, Lilu approaches Jordan and Liz, who have settled on the beach at the foot of La Pilote. She informs Jordan that she just missed Violet, who was there a few hours ago. Lilu adds that she heard him say that it was difficult to pull him out and that he was in the process of pulling out.

Worried about Violet, Jordan decides to go see her to support her withdrawal. The young woman then clears things up by admitting that Lilu misunderstood her words and that she doesn’t lack boosters…but misses his company since they haven’t seen each other much lately. Destabilized by this confession, Jordan remains speechless.

In the evening, Jordan tells Liz what happened with Violet. Lizzy doesn’t understand why he didn’t kiss her. Jordan insists it wasn’t the right time. But he urges her to leave, stressing that Violet isn’t going to keep him waiting forever.
