On Tuesday, July 9, in a more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Mirta and Yolande are at risk of dismissal
At Masalia’s residence, Mirta discovers a letter from the audit, tucked away in a pile of unsorted mail. Yolande tells her colleague that it’s not important because neither of them needs a hearing aid. Mirta, trying to hide her anger, replies that the audit is the person responsible for checking that they are doing their job well.
More bad news, the audit meeting is scheduled for this afternoon. Mirta is worried because their fixed-term contract ends at the end of the month, and if the interview does not go well, their contract will not be renewed. In addition, both women were behind on assignments.
At the end of the morning, Yolande informs Mirta that she has finished taking inventory in the laundry room. He also found an idea to eliminate the bad smell that comes from the pipes. Suddenly the fire alarm goes off. Yolande reassures her colleague, telling her that it’s because of the incense sticks she lit.
While there is general panic in the residence, the audit arrives. This is an awkward young woman. Mirta and Yolande explain to him that there is a small incident with the fire alarm, but Audit doesn’t want to hear anything. He tells them he will be back the next day for another meeting and it could cost them dearly.
He adds before leaving : “Your situation is very specific because it is rare for a company to hire people of your age”. Mirta cannot hide her anger towards Yolande. He asks her not to act on impulse anymore. Will this incident cost them their place in the Masalia residence?
Zoe has feelings for…
In Mistral, Zoe receives a message from Morgan to meet him at the beach. But the young woman works all afternoon and therefore cannot free herself. To test everything, she simulates the pain of menstruation. Killian informs her that she and her brother have scheduled a period leave and as a result, she can go home to rest.
Zoë immediately finds Jules at the Massali residence. The latter writes an article about holiday romance. He tells the young woman that she probably shouldn’t be interested because she’s never been in a relationship. But against all odds, Ariane’s daughter suggests that he was already in love. Jules tries to find out more, but Zoë remains very mysterious.
Once on the beach, Morgan finds himself alone with Zoe. He apologizes for his friend’s behavior, which can sometimes be very offensive. Afterwards, Morgan tells her new friend that she can confide in him if she feels the need. Zoe tells him that she has feelings for a boy she used to serve in Mistral.
Morgan asks the young woman if she plans to see the man again, and Zoe replies: “Without a doubt”. Jules returns with ice cream in hand. Morgan thanks his girlfriend and tells her he loves her. These words seem to make Zoe react.
Zoe leaves the beach earlier than expected. While walking past Bar Le Mistral, she runs into Killian, who accuses her of having period pains. Zoe replies that she had to stay for work after all. And for good reason: “I’m making a huge movie for myself. She already has someone. Period pain is nothing compared to that.”
So will she reveal her feelings to Jules?
Jennifer escapes Pascal’s vigilance
Pascal tells Jennifer the unbelievable: Samuel is dead. So he tells his little sister that he took the policeman’s life so they can be together. He tells her: “We’ll forget everything, we’ll start over together”. Jennifer is shocked by what she just learned.
At the police station, Ariane is worried. She informs the commissioner that before her disappearance, Samuel discovered Jennifer Masseron’s true identity. Ariane and Melanie wonder if Jennifer could be the reason for Samuel’s disappearance.
Samuel, on the other hand, wakes up frozen in the truck. He’s wearing a swimming jacket, so he can’t move his arms. He screams, asks for help, but is at the end of his strength. Thanks to his work, he manages to remove the tank by moving his shoulder, and then opens the door of the truck. After leaving, he managed to park the car.
A few minutes later, Samuel returned to the Mistral police station. Ariane and Maylin ask him what happened and the police officer tells them that he just felt a bite on his neck and that he woke up in a refrigerated car. But, unfortunately, he did not have time to see his attacker. She then informs her colleagues that Jennifer’s real name is Amber Castain.
In the apartment, Pascal risks putting his hands on Jennifer. He tries to comfort her by reminding her of the childhood memories they shared: “Even though you were adopted, we had a good time together”.
But Jennifer suddenly gets up and asks for help. He barely has time to say the sentence before Pascal covers his mouth with a scarf and ties his hands. During a fight, he breaks a glass with his foot. While Pascal goes to get the broom, Jennifer picks up a piece of glass and hides it between her fingers.
Will he be able to escape? To discover the rest of this summer’s arc, tune in Monday to Friday from 1.40pm on TF1.
