If his last poster is red, the lights are currently green for Alien Romulus. Located between Ridley Scott and James Cameron’s films, this new installment in the franchise will make those who were disappointed by Prometheus and/or Pact feel optimistic.
The images revealed so far are impressive, and the words of its director Fede Alvarez (who has already managed to regenerate Evil Dead) will make you believe it. Both a few weeks ago when we met him in Paris and in this feature film that was just released.
A mix of images from the feature film, behind-the-scenes footage and interview excerpts with lead actress Kaylee Spani (Priscilla, Civil War) and the Uruguayan director. Which once again confirms his ambition to reconnect with the spirit of the beginning of the franchise, St “Making a pure horror movie again.”
This implies, in particular, the rejection of green joints in favor of solid sets, cables and the maximum use of practical effects: “As a fan of the franchise, I knew it had to be raw and down to earth.”explains the film director. “So we really built each creature.”
The tease is set to continue on Friday, July 26 during San Diego Comic-Con, which will notably host a panel dedicated to Alien Romulus. A statement that was made… thanks to the VHS, which also includes the featurette seen above, the trailer and an excerpt from the featurette.
Me and @ 20th century I decided to publish one complete scene from my film #Foreign Romulus You I had only one condition… it had to be on VHS: https://t.co/jy6LuoLeGe

(“20th Century Studios and I have decided to release a complete cut of my film Alien Romulus, but I have set one condition that it be on VHS”)
And here is one of the sequences that contains it.
I found it thanks to the VCR @Lulamaybelle and her husband Jeff.

We appreciate the way in which “Hall H” appears on the screen just like the film title in Ridley Scott’s original opus. An additional way to return to the origins of the saga, making us even more eager to discover the outcome. Just one month later, from August 14.
