Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (“The House of Wax”), “The Orphan” follows a couple who adopt a 9-year-old girl named Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman) after the loss of their baby. However, Esther exhibits strange and disturbing behavior.
The film has a surprising twist about Esther’s mysterious past and identity. Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard star in the film.
A slasher horror film associated with the New French Extremity movement, “Alta Tensão” is directed by Alexandre Aja (“Piranha 3D”) and stars Cécile de France and Maïwenn.
In the plot, two student friends head to the isolated farm of one of their families. However, at night, a murderer appears in the house shortly after their arrival.
The slasher “The Night of the Deadly Jokes” combines horror and humor and features a surprising ending that defies viewers’ expectations.
The film follows a group of college friends who gather at a villa on an isolated island to celebrate April Fools’ Day. However, as time passes, a mysterious killer makes the friends disappear one by one.
