BRASILIA-THE Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) and the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) announced this Monday the definition of 220 vacancies in public race to the National Mining Agency (ANM). This week, according to the ministries, the ordinance authorizing the selection procedure will be published.
180 vacancies will be opened for mineral resources specialists and 40 for administrative analysts. All are for higher education.
“The ANM’s request has been on the agenda of the MME since the beginning of the government and the progress achieved is the result of long work and a restructuring of the budget”, the joint statement reads.
The ANM was created with the publication of Decree No. 9,587 on November 28, 2018. The agency replaced the National Department of Mining Production (DNPM), which for 84 years managed Brazil’s mineral resources.
