Cinema has endless tricks up its sleeve for simulating intimate scenes between two characters. However, sometimes directors or actors are looking for shots that are as realistic as possible, so they forget about these secrets and go straight to the source. This happened in the following films, which, although not for adults, contained real sexual moments.

‘Limitless’ (2008)

“Little Ashes” in English tells the story of the friendship of artists Salvador Dalí, Luis Buñuel and Federico García Lorca.

Robert Pattinson was responsible for the painter’s life. In one scene he was supposed to show himself masturbating, but, as he said in a 2013 interview, he did not achieve the desired representation in front of the camera.

At that moment, he decided to “stop playing” and gave way to a real moment of masturbation. “My orgasm face is recorded for eternity,” he said at the time.

‘Nymphomania’ (2013)

Lars von Trier’s controversial film has a strongly romantic tone, which is why intimate scenes abound.

The actors in the film had real sex, although this was achieved thanks to the magic of cinema: Shia LaBeouf, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgård and Uma Thurman pretended to be in relationships, while their acting doubles were intimate. In post-production they imposed the faces on the bodies.

‘Antichrist’ (2009)

Years before “Nymphomania”, director Lars von Trier already gave something to talk about with this film, in which he used the same method for intimate scenes: the main actors faked them, the body doubles performed them for real, and the meta – The production team was responsible for bringing them together.

‘Caligula’ (1979)

In the late 80s, Bob Guccone, the founder of the adult magazine “Penthouse” produced this film. Initially, he pitched the idea of ​​the film as the story of the Roman emperor Caligula and shot it with famous actors such as Peter O’Toole, Malcolm McDowell and Helen Mirren.

However, once the cameras stopped rolling on the main cast, he brought in a group of adult film actors to do the hottest scenes, which, in editing, he added to various parts of the film.

The film was one of the most controversial and criticized of its time.

‘Love’ (2015)

The French film directed by Gaspar Noé focuses on a couple who, in order to enrich their relationship, invite a third person to their meetings.

In an interview with “Esquire”, the director confessed that “most of the scenes are real, but some are simulated”, but he did not want to clarify which were real and which were staged.

“The Brown Bunny” (2003)

The title is not well known, since it is an experimental film and, due to the bad reviews it received, it has been forgotten.

However, one of her most famous (and controversial) scenes is the one in which Chloë Sevigny’s character gives Vincent Gallo oral sex. That moment was completely real.

A curious fact is that both the actors were previously a couple.

“Pink Flamingos” (1972)

John Waters’ film has become famously controversial. Suffice it to say that the plot is the struggle of two families for the title of “dirtiest in the world”.

In one particular scene, drag queen Divine gives oral sex to the actor playing her son. That moment did not materialize.
