The bill is being processed on an urgent basis, requiring a vote within 45 days of its receipt by the Senate Board of Trustees.
At the leaders’ meeting on Thursday 11, government and opposition senators asked the government to withdraw this urgency so that the text can be discussed by the end of the year. The government has already indicated that it should accept this suggestion, the report notes.
