Temperatures are rising across the country. Increased heat and decreased humidity tend to increase the risk of fires.
Sea winds carry much moisture east of the southern region, east of the southeast, and northeast of Brazil. An area of low atmospheric pressure over the ocean influences eastern Rio Grande do Sul.

Southern Region
An area of low atmospheric pressure on the coast of Rio Grande do Sul stimulates rain clouds over that state and also in southern Santa Catarina.
This Wednesday, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina will have sunny periods, but still very cloudy. Some Rain showers may occur in the mountains and on the southern coast of Santa Catarina, in the mountains, on the plateau and on the coast of Rio Grande do Sul and also in Greater Porto Alegre.
