Musician and comedian Jack Black went public this Tuesday (16) to talk about a speech given by Kyle Gass – his bandmate, with whom he has shared the stage since 1994 in the duo Tenacious D -, which has been circulating on social media since the group’s last show, held on Sunday (14).

Black and Glass posted about what happened
This Monday (16), in a publication made on his profile InstagramJack Black has strengthened his convictions against hatred and violence and announced the cancellation of the duo’s tour, as well as the hiatus of other projects involving the group.
“I was shocked by what was said at the show on Saturday. I want to make it clear that I will never support hate speech and I do not encourage any form of political violence. After much consideration, I have decided that it is not appropriate to continue with the Tenacious Tour D, and all future creative plans with the band have been put on hold. I thank the fans for their support and understanding,” the actor said.
Kyle Gass also spoke out about the incident. On Instagram, the guitarist and composer apologized for the situation and admitted the unhappiness and danger of his words.
“The speech I gave on stage on Saturday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake. I do not advocate any type or form of violence against anyone. What happened [com Donald Trump] This was a tragedy and I am sorry for my terrible error in judgment. I apologize to those I have disappointed and I regret all the pain I have caused,” the musician said.
