Santista Allan Oliveira and Spaniard Antomi Ramos play together in an event that starts this Friday and will last until Sunday at the Sand Arena
Brazilian world champion and Pan American champion Allan Oliveira, ninth in the world, and Spanish double world champion Antomi Ramos will compete together in the 12th stage of the Beach Tennis Circuit, which will be played on the ten courts of The Sand Arena, in Cotia (SP). The tournament will see the participation of 700 athletes and will be broadcast on the PlayBT YouTube channel.
Allan and Antomi, 5th in the world ranking, come from the titles together in the stage of the world circuit of Itumbiara (GO) played less than two weeks ago and present themselves as the top favorite couple for the title. They will return to play together on the Beach Tennis Circuit where they were champions in the first stage last year played at the CT Lucas Sousa, in Valinhos (SP).
They will have to compete with Giovane Bueres and Léo Silva, Fabio Ardore and Rubens Krywacz as well as João Pedro Chede and João Pedro Salado de Carvalho. In the women’s group Cindy Dias plays with Natalia Font and Juliana Carvalho with the Portuguese Marta Magalhães as the protagonist.
“Antomi and Allan are a strong pair and will come with everything they can to aim for this title, but it will not be easy because we have other big names accustomed to the Circuit who will give everything to beat them. It will be a very interesting match”, underlined Eduardo Souza, organizer of the Beach Tennis Circuit.
The stage is the third that counts G1 points in the São Paulo Tennis Federation ranking, in addition to the Brazilian Tennis Confederation ranking points in a new partnership between the entities. The score is important for athletes in both the professional and amateur categories ahead of the Federations Cup to be held in Fortaleza (CE) at the end of October.
