With protests before, during and after the match in Couto Pereira, Coritiba lost 1-0 against Mirassol this Friday (19), in the 16th round of the Brazilian Serie B. The result keeps Coxa in 11th place in the standings, with 20 points, three more than Botafogo-SP, which opens the relegation zone. Leão wins its first away win, reaching 25 points, jumping to fifth place. Another team from São Paulo, Novorizontino, closes the G4 with 26 points in total.
Coritiba accumulates yet another setback at home in this edition of Serie B. And, therefore, they have remained five games without a win, unable to leave the middle of the table.
In the protest that began in front of the stadium, the club’s board of directors, the football council and members of the SAF were targeted.
