Chalice of Blood and Curse of Forgiveness, as the filmmaker’s new releases were named, will be available on Netflix in August
Netflix released, this Monday (22), the first trailer for the director’s versions of Rebel Moonmost recent production of Zack Snyder (Army of the Dead: Invasion of Las Vegas), which will be available on the streaming platform’s catalog from August 2nd.
The new releases are sexier and bloodier versions of Rebel Moon – Part 1: The Girl of Fire It is Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scar Markeras defined by Netflix itself, and were renamed to Rebel Moon – Chapter 1: Chalice of Blood It is Rebel Moon – Chapter 2: Curse of Forgiveness. Watch the trailer:
What is the story of Rebel Moon?
The first part of Rebel Moon presented the story of an intergalactic colony threatened by a tyrannical ruler. Due to the conflict, a desperate group sends Kora (Sofia Boutella, Climax), a young woman with a mysterious past, on a quest for warriors from neighboring planets to help them defeat the villain.
The sequel continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors. Alongside the brave people of Veldt, they are ready to sacrifice whatever it takes to defend the village that has become home to those who lost everything and everyone in the fight against the Mother World.
On the eve of battle, each of them must face the truths about their own past and the reasons that led them to fight. With the Kingdom willing to annihilate the rebels at any cost, bonds are formed, heroes emerge, and legends are born.
