Released by The Cannon Group, “Delta Command” is loosely based on the real-life hijacking of TWA Flight 847. The film stars Chuck Norris and Lee Marvin, who play two special forces soldiers who lead the elite Delta Force team.

When a plane is hijacked by terrorists, Delta Force is asked to rescue the hostages.

Another 90s action film where terrorists hijack a plane, “Critical Moment” stars Kurt Russell and Steven Seagal in the lead roles.

The plot centers on a rescue team being placed aboard the hijacked plane during its flight. The cast also features names such as Halle Berry, John Leguizamo, and Oliver Platt.

Wesley Snipes stars in “Passenger 57” as John Cutter, a widowed ex-cop who becomes an airline safety consultant.

Cutter must save the flight he is on when an escorted criminal manages to escape with the help of his accomplices and takes control of the plane.
