Jasmine and Carla try to escape from her captors
After the Luvins kidnap Jasmine and Carla, Rose informs the police. At the Institute, the Master Director joins Paul, Antoine, Suleiman, Berenice and Jim to be evaluated by the Gendarme. He informs them that Jasmine and Carla’s cell phones were found in the trash can. He then encourages Paul to think of a base where the Luvins could go. Then he remembers the house in Andorra, where they often went.
Once the gendarme leaves, Rose, Paul, Berenice and Jimmy agree to check the routes that lead to Andorra. While Suleiman wants to join them, Antoine stops him.
In the forest, the Luvins break down due to an overheated engine. Jerome pulls away from the car to reassure Sandrine and Cleo: they are hiding 80 km from the hideout, where they will stay for a few weeks before leaving the country by sea to go to New Zealand. But Cleo worries about the fate of Jasmine and Carla. Jerome explains that they are going to use them as a bargaining chip if they get caught by the police. Despite her adoptive father’s justification, Cleo finds it difficult to come to terms with his actions.
In the backseat of the car, Jasmine and Carla are closely following the Luvins’ conversation. If Carla is afraid of being killed by Jerome, Jasmine suggests that she try to escape with Cleo’s help. Indeed, Jasmine noticed that her childhood best friend was torn. He sees a chance to escape and convinces Carla.
At the institute, Malik overhears Penelope and Antoine talking about Jasmine and Carla being kidnapped by Jerome Louvin, who he describes as a gun-toting madman who has already killed someone. Penelope leads the sect where Cleo grew up. It doesn’t take long for Malik to jump to conclusions and share with Billy and Leonard. Soon the worst rumors about the Luvins spread throughout the school.
In the hallway, Suleiman surprises Tom by telling the other students completely false stories about Cleo. He immediately jumps to the young girl’s defense, insisting that she has nothing to do with her parents. Antoine is then forced to intervene to restore peace. He distracts the students, then admits to Suleiman that Cleo doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. The young man then confides in his father that he became closer to him during the holidays and that he can convince him that he is just a victim of his parents. Antoine believes him and decides to gather all the students in the amphitheater to silence the rumours.
On the other hand, Jasmine and Carla, tied to each other on the ground, take advantage of the absence of Jerome, who has gone to a neighboring village in search of oil, to carry out their plan. Jasmine asks Sandrine for a drink so she can call Cleo for help. The three girls agreed on what to do.
Meanwhile, Paul, Rose, Jimmy and Berenice fail. While everyone is on edge and fearing the worst, Rose receives a call from Suleiman, who remembers the village with the green gate located in Evol that Cleo told her about and where she spent part of her childhood after escaping the sect. Rose asks him to inform the gendarmerie as well, and then leaves with the others.
In Evol, there is no sign of the Luvins. Jimmy begins to sink into despair. Berenice comforts him as best she can and admits that she needs his support too.
Meanwhile, Carla fakes an anxiety attack to get Sandrine’s attention. This gives Cleo time to go and retrieve her prepaid phone from the trunk of the car. Then Jasmine pretends to go to the bathroom. Sandrine allows her daughter to accompany her to the forest. Jasmine then picks up the phone that Cleo gives her and dials her friend’s number. The latter takes it and asks where they are.
Jasmine starts to answer him, but is interrupted by Jerome, who orders her to hang up while pointing a gun at her. On the other end of the line, Jimmy puts Jasmine on speakerphone and can hear the entire conversation with Rose, Paul, and Berenice next door. Jasmine rushes to Jerome and drops the phone on the ground. The two struggle until a gunshot is heard, followed by a scream of terror from Carla…
Kelly monopolizes Laetitia
After a nightmare where Kelly is kidnapped by a giant rabbit, Laetitia is restless and waiting for news from her daughter, whom she has been texting. Stanislas tries to calm her down, but Laetitia completely ignores him, obsessed with her phone, waiting for a call from her daughter. When he finally manages to reach Kelly, Laetitia advises him to be careful. Still, Kelly confirms that things are going very well for her at Dinar.
At Double A, before the service, Stanislas serves Alice tea and Letitia coffee. He looks at Kelly’s childhood photos that he just scanned, and Alice suspects that he’s succumbing to nostalgia. Laetitia admits that she misses her daughter, adding that she wonders why she won’t join him in Brittany, given that there is nothing holding her back at the Institute. Stanislas gets angry and leaves. Alice then opens Leticia’s eyes to the mistake she just made.
To remedy this, Laetitia makes a large cardboard heart with photos of Stanislas and writes that he is clearly the reason she stays at the institute. The young man is moved by her gesture. Even if his words irritated her a little, she understands that he is worried about her daughter and does not hold her back. Laetitia offers to give herself completely to him to forgive her. As they are about to make love, the couple accidentally knock over Kelly’s pig-shaped piggy bank, which breaks into pieces. Laetitia explains that it’s a Mother’s Day gift that she really cares about. Stanislaus goes to find something to fix it.
