After more than two decades of captivating Latin American audiences, the iconic Colombian telenovela ‘Yo soy Betty, la fea’ returns with a long-awaited sequel. This sequel, titled “Ugly Betty: The Story Continues” promises to answer the questions that fans of this story have about what has happened to Beatriz Pinzón and Armando Mendoza after all these years.
The original telenovela had a worldwide appeal, with more than 335 episodes broadcast throughout Latin America.
Its success was so great that it had several adaptations in both Spanish and other languages, including English, Italian, Russian.
But this phenomenon did not end there, even years after the broadcast of its last episode, the Colombian soap opera continues to maintain its popularity because on every platform it is on it does not go unnoticed and is among the most popular.

Episodes of ‘Ugly Betty: The Story Continues’ will be available on Prime Video. The series will have 10 chapters released weekly every Friday, to keep viewers hooked with each new installment.
The sequel to ‘Ugly Betty’ is now available on Prime Video from July 19, episodes will be released twice a week. We leave you the calendar for when and which chapters will be released.

What is ‘Ugly Betty: The Story Continues’.
The plot centers on a strong Betty who works hard to reconnect and rebuild her relationship with her teenage daughter.
At this new stage, she and Armando are still married, but separated for years and about to finalize a divorce. The death of Don Roberto Mendoza leads Betty to reunite with her former office colleagues and take back the reins of Ecomoda where she will once again come face to face with her former rival, Marcela Valencia.

The original cast returns to bring to life the characters that made the series famous.
Ana María Orozco reprises her role as Beatriz Pinzón Solano and Jorge Enrique Abello returns as Armando Mendoza. Also returning are Natalia Ramírez as Marcela Valencia, Lorna Cepeda as Patricia Fernández, Mario Duarte as Nicolás Mora, Ricardo Vélez as Mario Calderón, Julián Arango as Hugo Lombardi and other fan-favorite actors. New characters also join the plot, such as Juanita Molina who plays Camila, the daughter of Armando and Betty, and Sebastián Osorio as Ignacio.
