“It’s a crazy level, we’ve gone too high here!” : The day Ashley did something incredible on The Young and the Restless.

In the early 2000s in the movie “The Young and the Restless”, a particularly incredible story happened in Genoa. Even today, this plot remains for fans as one of the craziest in their favorite soap opera…

More than twenty years ago, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) stole her ex, Big Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) sperm, then secretly underwent artificial insemination!

Remember… a few years before this incredible theft, Victor and Ashley were a couple waiting for a happy event. But Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), the businessman’s great love, then reveals to the latter that she is suffering from cancer…

Reluctantly, Victor then decided to return to the suffering mother of his first child, Victoria, inevitably abandoning poor and fragile Ashley in the process.

Jack’s sister (Peter Bergman) felt unable to raise this child alone, making the difficult choice to terminate the pregnancy by abortion. After this intervention, Ashley saw her mental health decline and even ended up in a mental hospital!

In an interview with AlloCiné, Eileen Davidson aptly commented on this turn, which she never supported: “I didn’t like this correlation between a woman having an abortion and being mad about it. The interest here was seeing her rejected by the man she loved and that’s what made her unstable.“

Haunted by regret, Ashley’s character decides to illegally harvest Victor’s sperm (kept at a specialized clinic) to make up for what she always considered the biggest mistake of her life.

A short time away from Genoa City, he seized the opportunity to recover this coveted booty.

Eileen Davidson explained: “In her opinion, it was an obligation to do this and her intervention because she had an abortion years ago. But they really twisted it, I know… (laughs).”

Returning pregnant to everyone’s surprise, Ashley still realized that her action was a crime. So she figured out that the father of her unborn child, Abby, was none other than a man she knew…except that secret of significance never stays a secret for long in The Young and the Restless!

After a few twists and turns, Ashley remarries Brad (Don Diamont), who raises Abby as his own daughter. In the process, our hero is unfortunately diagnosed with cancer…you name it.bad luck“?

Ashley, believing that she has little time left to live, finally decides to reveal everything to the beloved bearded man, much to the dismay of Nikki, who fears that Victor will leave her again for his rival and their hidden child.

Brad, on the other hand, had a very bad time during this period and even lost himself in the arms of Ashley’s best friend, Olivia (Tonia Lee Williams), to forget all his worries… However, when the latter announced that this time she was expecting a child from him, the couple rejoiced and Reunited with joy!

Subscribe to the tragedies, Ashley dramatically lost this baby in a car accident at 9 months pregnant and (again) lost her mind…but that’s another story.
