Are Deadpool and Wolverine good? What do viewers think of the Marvel movie?

In theaters on Wednesday, July 24, Deadpool & Wolverine marks the arrival of the irreverent, big-mouthed mercenary to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And Wade Wilson isn’t alone, as he arrives alongside Wolverine, a role played by Hugh Jackman, who swore after Logan in 2017 that he was done with the mutant mutant.

In the third installment of the billionaire Deadpool saga, after failing to join the Avengers, Wade Wilson bounces from one small job to another without really finding his way.

Until the day a high-ranking officer of the anachronistic Variation Court offers him a mission worthy of his… on the condition that he sees his world and everyone he loves destroyed. After flatly refusing, Wade dons the Deadpool costume once more and tries to convince Wolverine to help him save the world…

With its meta-speak, numerous cameos, winks, and nonsensical scenes, Deadpool & Wolverine is faithful to the previous two installments. But what do early viewers think of Sean Levy’s film?

At the time of writing, the Marvel feature film has an average rating of 4 stars out of 5 for 770 ratings and 126 viewer reviews, including 100 reviews at least 3 stars. Deadpool & Wolverine is therefore rated the same as the first Deadpool and better than Deadpool 2 (3.8/5).

Egnori finds the film”Good! On the other hand, we should not trust the depth of the script. The cameos are nice, but you still have to be familiar with the Marvel Universe, the actors are all very good, there are a lot of very successful moments, expected encounters that hit the mark, and moments of emotion! It’s a real treat, but I think only Marvel fans will really appreciate it.

Tmoté L. writes: “Exactly what we’ve come to expect from this installment with bonus surprises, obviously gore, but we’re watching Deadpool so we’re not expecting Frozen to be that successful. Very funny, very good story and great fight scenes, from Big Deadpool.”

Zaldi gives it a 4 star rating and writes: “This is what the multiverse saga should have been like… I’m giving it 4 stars because I loved Deadpool 3 and decided what the MCU has become and because I didn’t expect anything else from what I saw.

To be honest, the movie deserves 3 and a half stars, but the nostalgia and genuine laughs I experienced over 2 hours allow the movie to rise a little higher.

To be clear, we’re not looking at a film of the same high quality as Marvel’s toppers (it’s just starting to make a comeback…), but it has the merit to place itself at the top of the basket for this saga. The multiverse’s irreverent violence, subversive jokes, delightful fanservice, its main theme, which is, well, the multiverse (finally!), and its few disturbing notes.

For Viclodu F. Lez, the film is “extraordinary The beginning just “WHOA” dare… excellent! In one movie they were able to create a very interesting Wolverine with a very heavy dark past to then present his redemption and his choice to continue the legacy of the X-Men and Charles Xavier. Wolverine is back in theaters.”

SPBc also highlights the work on the film’s soundtrack: “Exciting, entertaining, funny, nostalgic, bloody, sometimes dark and even disturbing, the third episode this time fits right into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film is more effective and knew how to use its potential. They held gold in their hands and were there until the end. “Like a Prayer” soundtrack, in particular “Power of Love” was really adapted to the scenes and the introduction to the film is excellent.”

Jam writes: “Don’t listen to the bad language and bad YouTubers, the movie has its flaws, a little short here and there, but it’s great to see Wolverine and Deadpool together.

Enjoyable fight scenes and unexpected cameos will knock your socks off (and I’m not kidding…you won’t believe your eyes). And God knows I’m complicated. A movie for fans!”

And finally, for Pierre”The Deadpool & Wolverine movie and Marvel Studios will pay homage to Marvel movies, especially from Fox before the birth of the MCU. I consider the film to be the last film of FOX.

The conclusion of the universe that began in the early 2000s, I loved the movie from start to finish. Profanity, humor, gratuitous violence, action scenes, and a broken 4th wall are all there with Deadpool. Be careful, Deadpool has no limits in language, everyone takes it for granted.

Marvel fans will have virtually every reference from the Marvel Universe, be it visual or verbal. The cameos are well measured and well placed and will make you smile. The duo Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are doing a great job. The chemistry between the two characters is great, they are made to play together.

Hugh Jackman as Logan is always perfect in his role. Ryan Reynolds is true to himself and his character. He let loose in the film, even more so than in the first two films. The storyline remains simple even if it’s in a multiverse theme. The stakes of the multiverse saga don’t have much development. The villain Cassandra Nova is better than some of the villains in other movies.”

They liked it less

For Ciara Clement-Martin, who gives it a rating of 2/5.If D&W is a friendly film made for its fans, reproducing more or less subtle references and turning into “Endgame” fan service for early fans, the blow wears off relatively quickly.

If you’re hoping to at least use your brain a little and expect some small proof that the MCU has learned the lesson of its recent failure, it’s not. The film simply repeats the pattern of the first two Deadpools. No risk, no consequences, Deadpool always returns to the same point at the end of every movie.

The failure becomes all the more glaring as he goes from Iron Man’s egotistical cynic to selfless hero and Captain America from a small brain who wants to prove himself to be one of the greatest daredevils of all time.

Olivier R., aka TicTac writes: “If you put aside the rather pleasant intro scene, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is a very average movie, the script concludes that Marvel has been making substandard movies for far too long.

This is the excuse used to justify the cameo overdose. Some were waiting. others do not. Others still have no subscribers. Sometimes we laugh, but the humor is very repetitive. The action scenes are pretty messy and there’s no real narrative stakes.

The story of the MCU has not yet moved forward and seems to be at a dead end. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman remain on good terms.

For Remy Lecoq, “Some interesting confrontation scenes, some nice cameos, some moving scenes (never Deadpool of course). Hugh Jackman almost saves the movie, but too many tasteless dialogues and lame jokes and a completely botched script means that this movie is not a good movie, in my opinion, worse it creates a huge problem in MCU continuity.

Jaydiohead regrets the film’s lack of stakes: “No bets. Everything is at such a level of highly controlled cynicism that it very quickly becomes what it condemns, leading the viewer to believe that it is accepted.

This level of chance in a script is worthy of the worst video games from 20 years ago. There is nothing more subversive than a teenager who doesn’t fold a napkin after eating. And to top it off, it’s incredibly boring. “

Finally Elizabeth G writes: “An ultra-sluggish action comedy that even Wolverine’s character can’t save: a plot with absent subplots, tons of 2000s fanservice cameos, and even less humor. Ultimately, what a bore!”

In conclusion, most viewers consider the film to be effective entertainment that stays true to the spirit of Deadpool, especially appreciating the duo formed by Deadpool and Wolverine.

The cameos are appreciated, although some viewers feel that they may confuse the uninitiated or young viewers. Many bemoan the weakness of the script and point out that Sean Levy’s feature film does not advance the MCU even further.

Deadpool & Wolverine Must see in cinema.
