How Manchester City Arrives

The team led by manager Pep Guardiola are coming off a defeat against Celtic, in a seven-goal game in the team’s first match of this pre-season.

Despite the negative result, Guardiola has used 14 young players in the squad and the expectation is that the coach will continue to give opportunities to other athletes. However, Haaland must command the team’s attack.

Furthermore, City are still without the players who played in Euro 2024 and Copa America 2024, as they are still on holiday.

How Milan arrives

Milan also took to the field, fresh from a draw against Austrian SK Rapid Wien.

At the same time, Milan is going through a period of reconstruction and is starting the work of the Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca.

So far, Álvaro Morata, champion with Spain at Euro 2024, is considered the main purchase. He is on vacation after the tournament, as are the other players who participated. Even so, the team has important names such as Rafael Leão, Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek and Chukwueze.
