From then on, Stark had to create other suits of armor and live as a third-party supporting character in global soap operas. But that’s it thanks to his temporary marriage to Emma Frostthe White Queen.
Emma helped Tony get rich again
Stark had to remain at the “piano” behind the scenes, however, he publicly announced a “fake” marriage to Emma Frost to gain influence in the Hellfire Club. In The Invincible Iron Man #20recently released, Stark sits alone at a restaurant table and then receives an envelope with a check from Emma Frost. Admitting that it is “more money than I’ve had in years,” he takes his “two billion dollars” out West.
Emma reveals that she “used her mental powers and made the market work for her,” falsifying trades and stealing accounts from various evildoers, including Roxxon, Tombstone, and even Doctor Doom.
Now Stark is back as Marvel’s richest hero.
