The Boys Announces Spin-Off Series About Vought International’s Past


Amazon Prime Video announced at San Diego Comic-Con a spin-off prequel series to The Boys starring Soldier Boy and Stormfront

Although the main series of The boys is about to end in the next fifth season, the Amazon Prime Video revealed this Friday (26), at San Diego Comic-Con, a new spin-off attraction that expands the universe and brings the franchise to life. The spin-off will serve as a prelude to the original storyline using Soldier Boy and Stormfront’s past in the history of Vought International.



Call Vought on the RiseThe new series will see Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash reprise their respective roles The boys like Soldier Boy and Stormfront. The executive producer of The boysPaul Grellong, will be involved in the development of the attraction and will also serve as showrunner.

The showrunner of The boysEric Kripke, commented on the new series, in an interview with Deadline. “We are thrilled to bring you the next twisted series from the world of The boys“, Kripke and Grellong said.

They revealed some plot details of Vought on the Rise. “It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who at the time was called Clara Vought.”

“We can’t wait to shock you and disturb your souls with this obscene and macabre saga soaked in blood and Compound V,” they added.

The Boys Multiple Series

Amazon Prime Video wants to continue to ride the success of The boys even after the main storyline ends in the upcoming fifth season. Beyond the spin-off animation The boys present: Diabolicothe service of streaming released the trailer for the second year of the live-action spin-off at San Diego Comic-Con Gen V.

The trailer for the second season of Gen Vwhich is not yet officially available, shows Godolkin University back in business, with students returning to the institution in a tense and oppressive atmosphere. The series will return in 2025 and will reflect the events of the fourth season of The boys.

Furthermore, the universe of The boys will continue to expand with another live-action series in development called The Boys: Mexico. The project, set in Mexico, as the name suggests, has the screenwriter of the film Blue ScarabGareth Dunnet-Alcocer, with the writer, and there are no further details or release date yet.
