Game of Thrones villain and Enola Holmes star: Netflix series from Peaky Blinders creator revealed

In anticipation of the Peaky Blinders movie currently playing across the channel, Netflix and Stephen Knight are holding back. The platform and the screenwriter are working together on the next series, which is already very popular.

Entitled The House of Guinness, it will take place in the 19th century and trace the history of the Irish family behind the iconic beer brand. We can count on Knight, a lover of this type of historical shows, to prepare something of quality for us.

Casting that really gets you

Speaking of quality, Netflix has revealed the list of all the actors who will be appearing in the series, and there’s something for everyone. Specifically we will find:

Lewis Partridge (Enola Holmes), Anthony Boyle (Masters of the Air), Emily Fearne (Mary and George), Fionn O’Shea (Meeting Amber), James Norton (War and Peace), Niamh McCormack (Everything Now), Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Game of from Thrones), Daniel Galligan (Shadow and Bone) and David Wilmot (Fantastic Beasts).

House of Guinness will be divided into 6 episodes and will take place after the death of Benjamin Guinness, who popularized this drink, which is now one of the most famous beers in the world. It owes its popularity mainly to its black color and caffeinated taste.

As explained in this article, the series will not return to the invention of beer itself, but to the empire left behind by the Irish philanthropist. Four heirs are fighting for the position of the head of the company, and this rivalry will be called the style of succession.

With production set to begin this summer and filming expected to continue for a few more weeks, we’ll have to wait until 2025 to see the results on our screens. And we can’t wait.
