This scene from Twisters managed to generate a disagreement among the editing team.
Twisterthe new version of the film of the same name John of Bontpublished in 1996, is being shown in Brazilian cinemas. This time, under the direction of Lee Isaac Chung (Minarets) the film focuses on the storm chasing couple Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar Jones) and Tyler Owens (Glen Powell). And it was the film’s director himself who revealed, in a recent interview, that a specific scene in Twisters was capable of causing disagreements within the team.
Talking with ColliderChung explained how a nearly cut scene from Twisters was kept after strong encouragement from the editing team. According to the director, this scene featured Glen Powell walking in the rain wearing a white shirt. Chung considered shortening the scene, but members of the creative team advised against it, for a curious reason:

“I was thinking about how the rain makes things poetic, and my costume designer, Eunice [Jera Lee]he said, “Here’s what he’s wearing.” We turned on the rain and I thought, “That’s going to be a really expressive moment,” and he came out, and then I thought, “Oh, sure.” I wasn’t putting two and two together until it happened, and I was watching it on the monitor. I turned to Ashley Jay Sandberg, who’s our executive producer, and she had a smile on her face and I just said, “You’re welcome.” [Risos]”(Lee Isaac Chung, via Collider).
