The teaser for Original Sin, the Dexter prequel due in December on Paramount+, recreates the series’ classic opening
Moment of nostalgia for fans of Right. Friday (26), during the San Diego Comic-Con, the panel dedicated to prequel from the series, Original sinhas released the first teaser for the new Showtime production. The nearly two-minute video recreates the classic opening of Rightwhich shows the serial killer’s morning routine in great detail and sensory detail.
Just like the opening of the crime drama, a hit that lasted eight seasons, of which the teaser Original sin It begins with a mosquito being squashed by the protagonist. The footage then continues in close-ups showing the character’s clean shave, breakfast, and even the character’s choice of clothes, as he leaves the house with his father and sister for another “ordinary day.”
Following the idea of the original incipit, the video shows in detail images that refer to elements of the serial killer’s life and include skin, blood and hair, as well as cut and fried foods.

The series shows the “birth” of the serial killer
Announced in January last year, Dexter: Original Sin It is set fifteen years before the drama starring Michael C. Hall (Six feet under) and shows Dexter’s transition from student to serial killer.
A traumatized young man with uncontrollable and bloodthirsty desires, Dexter (Patrick Gibson) is trained by his adoptive father (Christian Slater) to kill people who “deserve to be eliminated.” A mission he follows with great dedication, throughout his studies and internship in the forensic area of the Miami Metropolitan Police Department.

In addition to Gibson and Slater, the show also features Molly Brown (Return to Love) as Debra, the protagonist’s sister, and Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy) as Aaron Spencera captain in the Miami Metro homicide division.
Coming to Paramount+ in December, the first season of Dexter: Original Sin It has ten episodes.
