After a breakout debut in several markets, including Brazil, Inside Out 2, the sequel to the 2015 Pixar animated film, has surpassed The Avengers to enter the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time. With a historic box office, the film has reached the threshold of $1.524 billion globally, distancing itself from other cinematic successes.

Directed by Kelsey Mann, the new Pixar film presents Riley as a teenager filled with new emotions, including anxiety, envy, shame and boredom.
For those who don’t remember, Riley’s mind headquarters is run by Joy, who, along with her other feelings, tries to help the character as she struggles to adapt to the changes in her life. In the new storyline, however, the group will face one of their biggest challenges: the arrival of adolescence and, consequently, new feelings. Watch the trailer here!
The original film, Inside Out (2015), won the 2016 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, as well as a nomination for Best Original Screenplay. It remains available on Disney+.
