Jimmy Kimmel Turns Down Oscar Hosting Position; See Full List of Presenters

John Mulaney also ruled out a possible invitation

Jimmy Kimmel and John Mulaney rejected a possible invitation to present the edition of Oscar next year, confirmed the Variety.

Kimmelwho hosted the ceremony four times — in 2017, 2018, 2023 and 2024 —, turned down the post at the end of the first half of this year. Already Mulaneywho also presented the Governors Awardshas a busy schedule with several projects. The talk show Everybody’s in LAfor example, may be renewed by Netflix.

Whoopi Goldberg and Jack Lemmon were also hosts of the Oscar four times. Johnny Carson held the role five times; Billy Crystalnine, and Bob Hope an incredible 19 times.
