Sidnei Lobo liked what he saw from the Tricolor in the 0-0 draw against Corinthians, at the Maracanã

This Saturday (17), Fluminense drew goalless against Corinthians in the 23rd round of the Brazilian championship. The score leaves Tricolor in 18th place, with 21 points and sends a warning signal to its fans.

Immediately after the match, Sidnei Lobo, Mano Menezes’ assistant and responsible for leading the team in the match, saw Flu above the opponent and went home satisfied with the players’ performance.

“We faced a great team. Corinthians, with the arrival of the new coach, implemented three defenders, they are a stronger team. It was a difficult match due to the circumstances, with the absence of important players. I think we played well, we could have scored the goal and won, but we knew the difficulty of the match. Corinthians are also a strong team, they should have been in this situation too,” he said before adding:

“I’m satisfied with what the team has managed to do. Now it’s time to continue, get back up, the fans came and supported us. We feel the draw, but the important thing is to score.”

In the next round of the Brazilian championship, Fluminense goes to Minas Gerais. At the Arena MRV, the team measures its forces against Atlético-MG.
