Alain Delon died this Sunday, August 18, at the age of 88. To honor the memory of this sacred monster of French cinema, France Télévisions has decided to change its programs.

Sunday, August 18, at 1:15 p.m.:

One Day, One Fate: Alain Delon, The Solitude of the Beast

This documentary by Laurent Allen-Caron looks back on the rich career of the man who will go down in the collective memory of Rocco, Leopard, Samurai and Mr. Klein.

Thanks to previously unpublished youthful images and the testimonies of his brother Jean-François, his daughter, but also one of his first loves, the actress Brigitte Aubert, this portrait reveals the hidden and mysterious side of this legend of the cinema.

Sunday, August 18, a special tribute evening from 9:05 p.m.:

Tom Ripley is tasked by an American billionaire, Mr. Greenleaf, to bring back to San Francisco his son Philip, who has been vacationing too long in Italy with his beloved Marge. Tom enters into the couple’s intimate relationship and becomes Philip’s handyman, who forces him to participate in all his adventures and does not stop hating him.
