Should not culture benefit from a sovereign ministry?

My ambition is to restore all its splendor to the Ministry of Culture and transform it into a strategic ministry that will promote French culture in the world.

Cinema, if we forget the pure entertainment cinema that is falling apart, we should not forget it, the largest share of access to cinema can be considered as “political art” because by nature it speaks about what we are, our society, about it. Failure and its passions. It is a tool for ambition, escape, dreams of a better world, and condemnation of our weaknesses, among many other things. Movies and TV series are the art of their time and are inspired by nature with the major social issues that cross it. Therefore, authors and directors are the first to raise social issues to raise awareness, and we can only welcome that. But these artists are, above all, free men and women, completely free in their artistic choices. It is an absolute freedom that we are fascinated by, and that French cinema is self-respecting, sponsoring so many works of cinema that are endangered in their countries of origin. In France, on the other hand, one could not dictate the choice of artists to anyone, because otherwise we would have left the field of art and joined the field of propaganda.
