Starting tonight, Camping Paradis returns to TF1 for a new episode. The possibility for viewers to see again Jerome Angier, who has already appeared for the first time in the series, as well as Christelle Cholet or even Garance Teillet (tomorrow belongs to us) and Tristan Le Vexier (here it all begins).
In this new installment, several farmers arrive at the camp. Like every year, they come with some animals to introduce the village life to the tourists who come to spend a few days in the tribal holiday village.
However, the climate is far from idyllic as their business is on the verge of bankruptcy. Their daughter then does her best to help them, but her modern ideas have a hard time getting along with her father. An episode that should appeal to early fans.
The series has been broadcasting since 2006 and continues to be a great success with the audience. But did you know that the legendary TF1 presenter was to have a leading role in the fiction? During an interview with Sud-Ouest in 2021, Laurent Urnac confided this incredible secret:
“Tom Delorme should have played Vincent Lagaffe”
“Basically, Tom Delorme was supposed to play Vincent Lagaffe. The character was older, a widower and a father. He was much more athletic than me with my more debonair physique. But it just couldn’t happen.”
But then, how did the actor end up at the helm of Camping Paradis? “After spotting me in my incredible fiancé, Jean-Luc offered me the role to change the role.
“it was a mess”
A few months earlier, Vincent Lagaff had already spoken about this topic in the columns of Télé 7 Jours: “People forget, but originally this series was written for me, I was supposed to do it, and then there was a mess and it was Laurent Urnac who got the role.”
A confusion that was finally resolved after the former host of Bigdil then appeared in an episode of the series. It is not easy to imagine someone else in the place of Laurent Urnak, is it?
