This Sunday (18), Vasco faced Criciúma at the Heriberto Hülse and ended up losing the chance to gain another advantage over the relegation zone. The Cruzmaltina team started the match but, after conceding the first goal in the 6th minute, the team began to attack more and had great opportunities.

In the first half Vasco turned the tables with goals from Rayan and David. However, Bolasie scored the two goals for Criciúma, one at the beginning and the other in injury time in the second half, snatching the three points from Cruzmaltina’s team. In addition, the team did not have its star player, Vegetti, for this match.

Lucas Piton played another excellent game and provided another assist this season for Vasco. The full-back was one of the team’s key players, along with striker Vegetti and goalkeeper Léo Jardim.

Vasco’s next duel will be against Atlético Paranaense at home, and the Cruzmaltina team will have a week of preparation, while Furacão will make a decision in midweek. Victory for the Rio team will be essential to move further away from the relegation zone and closer to the G6.
