Eugene Levy and Dan Levy were confirmed as the hosts of the 76th edition of the Emmy Awardswhich will air live on September 15, 2024. The duo, known for their work on the acclaimed series Schitt’s Creekwill be the first father-son group to host the ceremony, which will take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The two made history in 2020 when they became the first father and son to win top Emmy awards in the same year. Eugene won best actor in a comedy, while Dan took home best supporting actor, as well as winning for writing and directing.

Eugene Levy is nominated this year in the category of best non-fiction series or special, with The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levyfrom Apple TV+.

Eugene and Dan Levy also stand out as the first duo to co-host the Emmys since 2018, when Colin Jost and Michael Che shared the stage.
