Find out how the temperature will drop and the capitals of central-southern Brazil
A strong cold front has already begun to affect northern Argentina and Rio Grande do Sul and will advance into Brazil in the coming days. The cold winds of the cold air mass of polar origin coming from this cold front will be felt in the states of the South, Southeast, Center-West and the Federal District, but also in Rondônia, Acre, central-southern Amazonas, southern Pará and Tocantin.
The most intense cooling will occur in the southern region of Brazil, and also in some parts of the southeast and the center-west. In the northernmost areas of the Center-West, in the center-north of Minas Gerais, in the northern states of Brazil, the passage of this cold wind will only relieve the heat and for a short time.
Despite the passage of this strong cold, August should end with an average temperature above normal.
