We saw these telepathic abilities in action shortly after Kakarot finally landed on Planet Nameku, after interrupting the Ginyu Special Forces’ fight against Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan. Without revealing his origin or how he does it, Goku was able to read Krillin’s thoughts and understand the context of the fight.
