Last Thursday, August 15, France 3 launched Ouija: A Murderous Summer, its new summer saga hosted by Bruno Solo and Ophelia Colby. This series takes us to the 80s, in a small village in the south of France.
High school students prepare for German correspondents in a tense climate. The memories of the Second World War are indeed still very fresh in the minds of the residents. During the party, a group of high school students participate in a spiritualism session using a Ouija board.
After a while, tragic events happened to the village. Could they awaken an evil spirit? Young people begin to investigate the origin of the evil that befalls their families.
Will there be a second season?
This Thursday, August 22, France 3 will broadcast the last three episodes of Ouija, The Killing Summer. If the ending leaves the news door open, all the mysteries surrounding the inhabitants of the small French village are solved.
Therefore, there is very little chance that the series will return for a second season. Especially since the audience left something to be desired. The first two episodes attracted just 1.17 million viewers, or a 7.8% audience share of four-year-olds and older (4+) and 2.6% of women responsible for buying under fifty (FRDA-50).
Detective TV movie with Thierry Godard
On Thursday, August 29, instead of The Killing Summer, Ouija, France 3 viewers will be able to see School of Spies, a detective TV movie with Pascal Elbe and Thierry Godard.
Plot: Young people Zana, Ines, Alex, Francois and Pierre have just joined the school of spies. They will be introduced to their teachers to learn the strategy and practice of espionage, history of international intelligence, weapons handling, mastery of modern technology, etc.
This film tells the story of their friendship, their love, their hopes, and accompanies them through the difficult learning of espionage, while the school is the subject of a violent invasion by a foreign service…
Watch the last three episodes of Ouija this Thursday, August 22 from 9.10pm on France 3.
