Angelina Assists as Orlando Pride Remains Undefeated in NWSL

The leader remains dominant in the NWSL, the American women’s soccer league. In a match valid for the 17th round of the regular season, the Orlando Pride defeated the Houston Dash 1-0. Three Brazilians were starters for the Florida team, while defender Tarciane and midfielder Andressa Alves were starters for the Texan team.

The most important Brazilian athlete of the Orlando Pride was the midfielder Angelina. She struck a beautiful ball for the striker Summer Yates, who invaded the area and opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the second half. In addition to Angelina, the starting lineup also included the champion Marta and the winger Adriana, who were replaced in the final phase.
