In the text, published this Wednesday (28), Selena gave an emotional account, highlighting Izquierdo’s qualities, also thanking him for the prayers and strength received during the time the player fought for his life.

“Today I had to say goodbye to my other half, the love of my life. For many Juan Izquierdo, but for me, Juanma, my best friend, my husband, father of my children, my unconditional “two”. However, today A part of me dies with you. Great person, noble, loving, without evil. He was an angel on this earth and will be an angel in heaven. But today it is my turn to move forward for our children and from whom to draw strength where there is none. I know that you fought until the end and that the only thing you wanted was to be with us. I will miss you forever and I know that your absence will hurt every step of the way, I only dream of the day we meet and see that smile that fills my soul again”, she said, before thanking him for the support received:

“Thank you to everyone who thought of him and gave me strength in one way or another. Today Juanma takes care of me and, above all, our children from heaven. I will love you all my life, my warrior. This time we lost,” he concluded.
